We want your teapot, tea set or tea to arrive safely and promptly, ready to enjoy or to give. Here's everything you need to know about delivery from Lady Hartley's Tea Room.
Free UK Delivery on Every Order
Delivery is free on all orders to the UK mainland and Northern Ireland, with no minimum spend. The price you see is the price you pay.
Dispatch Times
Orders are dispatched within 1 to 2 working days (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays). Orders placed at the weekend or on a bank holiday are dispatched from the next working day.
Where We Deliver
We currently deliver to:
- UK mainland (England, Scotland and Wales)
- Northern Ireland
We're not currently able to deliver to the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, BFPO addresses or outside the UK.
Delivery Methods
- UK mainland: orders up to 2kg are sent with Royal Mail. Larger orders over 2kg are sent by courier (APC).
- Northern Ireland: orders up to 2kg are sent with Royal Mail. Larger orders over 2kg are sent by courier (DPD).
Most orders arrive within a few working days of dispatch. Delivery times are estimates and can occasionally be longer at busy times, such as the run-up to Christmas.
Ordering a Gift?
If you're sending a gift for a special occasion, we recommend ordering at least a week ahead to allow for dispatch and delivery. During December, please order as early as you can, as Royal Mail and courier services are especially busy.
Delivery Address
Please double-check your delivery address at checkout, including your postcode and house number. If you spot a mistake after ordering, contact us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to update it before your order is dispatched.
Damaged, Missing or Late Orders
Our teapots and tea sets are carefully packed, but if anything arrives damaged, or an item is missing, please let us know as soon as possible, ideally within 3 days of delivery, with your order number and a photo. If your order hasn't arrived within 7 working days of dispatch, please get in touch and we'll look into it for you.
